Abstract

This study aimed to understand how the Federative Units interpreted and reorganized the proposal of the National Common Curricular Base regionally. To this end, after reading the twenty-five references located from the documents made available by the respective Education Departments, criteria were developed for understanding these documents specifically on Religious Education. It was possible to identify characteristics such as the mere reproduction of the BNCC until a rereading of the same document, with some Federative Units effectively taking the project of this curricular component closer to the religious cultural characteristics of their different contexts. We also verified that the State of Goiás reported that it did not develop a reference for Religious Education and that of Alagoas was not located. Thus, understanding the regionalization of education is important to understand the different perspectives of teaching and learning proposed for a country with continental dimensions such as Brazil.
