The 1988 Federal Constitution indicates, in the rights related to education, the provision for the establishment of a minimum curriculum for basic education. This right is reiterated by the Law of Guidelines and Bases of National Education 9394/1996. The National Common Curricular Base is an attempt to guarantee this right. However, in a country of continental dimensions and with immense cultural wealth and diversity, it becomes necessary to adapt this curricular proposal regionally. This article discusses the adaptations made in the state of Minas Gerais, focusing on Religious Education. Documentary research was used in physical and, above all, digital collections that allowed for the recovery of information on the regionalization of the BNCC in the state. The main adaptation made, the Minas Gerais Reference Curriculum, was adapted according to the anthropological Religious Education, proposed by Wolfgang Gruen in the 1970s. This theoretical influence was also perceived in several municipal curricular adaptations, although, in most cases, it is not properly referenced.Downloads
