O Ensino Religioso no Amazonas e os Currículos dos Estados da Região Norte

Abstract

The article intends to present and reflect on the Curricular References of the northern region, particularly the Amazonense Curriculum Reference and the Manaus Municipal School Curriculum. It also addresses the contribution of the other states in the region - Acre, Amapá, Pará, Rondônia, Roraima and Tocantins, as such documentation contributes to a diverse and plural Religious Education, as the northern region of Brazil has unparalleled riches in the cultural and religious. The documents are important in strengthening the Religious Education curricular component, as they portray the religious knowledge present in the various religious traditions existing in the region. In this way, it is intended that Religious Education takes its place in the school space and contributes to the citizenship formation of students in education networks in the northern region
