Abstract

Augustine (354 - 430 C.E.) was bishop in Hippo’s city, north of Roman Africa, being one of the greatest thinkers of his time. His conceptions and writings marked both the Christianity of his time and later historical moments. The present paper aims to present the studies of the last decades about Augustine of Hippo, his relations with women and gender issues.
