Discutindo o gênero literário do Evangelho de Tomé: Os Evangelhos de Sentenças

O gênero literário “evangelho” comporta quatro variações: Evangelhos de sentenças, de diálogos, de narrativas e de discursos. O Evangelho de Tomé é um evangelho de sentenças e a importância deste gênero está no fato de ser uma forma textual primitiva na história da transmissão dos ensinamentos de Jesus. O processo de formação das crenças do cristianismo primitivo dependeu num primeiro momento destas tradições.Referências
