Resumo: Rubem Alves fala da beleza, um jardim escondido dentro de nós. Ao reconhecer a beleza que somos nós mesmos, vemos a beleza das outras pessoas e à nossa volta. As pessoas não estão reduzidas à dimensão natural. Viver é necessariamente transcender. Ao mesmo tempo, somente a Mãe Terra cria as condições para que possamos viver. Como “mãe” acolhedora, ela nos dá o dom da vida. O ser humano parece humanizar-se enquanto se sente cheio de graça. As buscas pessoais do teólogo Rubem Alves podem ser compartilhadas pelos desejos de outros seres humanos que de igual modo desejam um mundo mais justo e inclusivo. Inclusão e justiça são outros nomes dessa Unidade diversa desejada. Não homogeneidade, mas (re)conciliação entre os seres humanos; entre o ser humano e a Mãe Terra... Utopia... Recolhimento e refúgio de nossos trabalhos e pesares. ... Caminhada, busca, encontros. Deus torna-se uma Presença da qual sentimos falta. Desejamos, esperamos, lutamos. When we discover the beauty that is within ourselves, we are able to see the beauty in other people and around us. People are not restricted to their natural dimension. Living entails transcending. At the same time, only Mother Earth creates the conditions for us to live. As a welcoming “mother” she bestows upon us the gift of life. Human beings seem to humanize when feeling full of grace. The personal pilgrimage undertaken by the theologian Rubem Alves can be shared by the wishes of other human beings that equally desire a more just and inclusive world. Inclusion and justice are other names for this desired and diverse Unity. Not homogeneity, but (re)conciliation among human beings; between human beings and Mother Earth ... Utopia… Sheltering and refuge from our labor and cares... A journey, a search, an encounter. God becomes a Presence that we miss.
