O que se descreve em Ez 26-19-21 descreve-se em sentido contrário, em Gn 1,1-3. Ez 26,19-21 descreve a destruição (em chave retórica histórica), isto é, a descriação (em chave retórica mítica) de (muito provavelmente) Tiro, ao passo que Gn 1,1-3 descreve a reconstrução (em chave retórico histórica), isto é, a criação (em chave retórica mítica) de Jerusalém.
